if so, you REALLY need to pick up "Gothic" from Paradise Lost.
it an old album, pro'lly 10 years at least, but some nice guitar work, some keys, female back-ups here and there...
I just dug this gem out...hadn't heard it in a while...

maybe someone could host a song (that I would email to them), so people could check it out...?

for a doomy-gloomy band, there's some really nice melodies here.

and the singer's not so deathy that you can't understand him.

It depends on the slowness, the metal-ness, and the gothic-ness. I really like some of My Dying Bride's stuff, and some of it just grates on me. So, basically...I'd have to hear it.

Lately, all I listen to is Lacuna Coil and Dimmu Borgir. I might have to make Cristina Scabbia my next bride...
